He has experience advising on acquisitions of companies, including cross-border transactions. He has also been involved in corporate restructurings, including matters related to the energy sector and public subsidies. In addition, he advises on banking and finance matters and represents clients in complex commercial disputes.

Jan has been a member of the Czech Bar Association since July 2025. Before qualifying as an attorney-at-law, he worked as a trainee lawyer, focusing primarily on commercial and contract law.

In addition to his experience in private legal practice, Jan gained professional experience at a public prosecutor’s office and at the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic.
